Director Biography - María Papi

María Papi is an Argentinian artist, who lives in Buenos Aires, and works as an author, creative, film director and performer. Is an interdisciplinary artist trained at the National University of Arts (UNA).

Award Winning “BEST FEMALE DIRECTION” at Festival Internacional Buenos Aires Non Stop 2016. María has created multiple independent audiovisual projects, videoart, installations, videoclip and visual art for emerging bands and musicians, VJ, documentary record of performance art and urban interventions, webisodes, video for theater of Buenos Aires and for popular music shows. His works have participated in numerous international film festivals and art galleries (Berlin Feminist Film Week, Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata, Bataclán International México, Fem Tour Truck, Bienal CinéWomen, Libercine, VideoBardo, MARTE Gallery, and others).

Since 2004 manages “Caracol Studio Audiovisuals” with his partner, the musical composer Carlos Páez.
