Director Biography - Alex Parelius

Alex Parelius is a Chicago native recording artist, actor, music producer, writer and director, known by his stage name- Apollo Clone. He left Montana State University School of Music during his third year to move to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in the music/acting industry.

After many self produced albums, and attempts to get into the LA scene, Apollo Clone moved back to his home city of Chicago to work with JLP Audio on his first mass marketed, concept album ‘Think and Grow Rich.’ Through networking, Apollo met one of the producers of the upcoming 2018 film ‘American Badass: A Michael Madsen Retrospective’ shortly after arriving back in Chicago. He was cast as a young Michael Madsen, another Chicago native. Filming took place in Chicago, Phoenix and Los Angeles. Returning back to LA to film in the deserts of Palmdale, Apollo used the opportunity to direct a music video he had written for his first single off of ‘Think and Grow Rich,’ titled ‘HERO.’ The video was filmed in 6K.
Apollo Clone writes and produces all of his music. He also is committed in various side projects including a sketch comedy channel and acoustic performances. In March of 2018, Apollo Clone partnered with Royal Records, an Indie Hip Hop label out of New Zealand.
