I am a Film & Television student at Dian Nuswantoro University. From a young age, I have deeply admired how films explore storytelling through the use of audiovisual media. As I progressed, I began to study the art of crafting scripts for short films and delving into the realm of visual language. As a writer, I have had the opportunity to be involved in creating several scripts for short films.
Every day, minority communities face dilemmas regarding the information they receive. Despite press freedom laws being in place since the reform era, in practice, it's the opposite. Exploiting media owners' financial vulnerabilities, capitalists easily intervene by disseminating desired news. While some are aware, others remain swayed by the currents.
Through this film, I aim to express concerns about how press freedom can be easily manipulated. It portrays the viewpoint of a reporter compelled to work under orders, inviting viewers to delve into the fears and anxieties of fieldworkers.
