" I've been taking care of my film from development to the subtitles but I couldn't have done it without countless help and support from my crew, cast and loved ones. Including my actors, we're very excited about this film! "
The inspiration for the film came from a friend's short story of a girl meeting her childhood. It sounded quite interesting to me so I wanted to explore the idea of meeting a younger self. It made me think of the life I had lived till that moment and who I was as a child. I was going through a time of personal breakthrough at the time. I had realized that I wasn't living my own life in a way. I needed things to change. I had to change. That was the biggest inspiration for the film. Along with the support of my partner, I tried my best to create a world where Haziran and Eylül felt real. Thanks to my crew for the awesome visual work and the amazing performances of my actresses, I could tell this story to my heart's content!
