HAVE YOU EVER FALLEN IN LOVE WITH A WAVE?

Adrian Iliopoulos is an independent filmmaker from Athens working on existential and poetic short films and documentaries.
My philosophy is that movies need to make a statement. Cinema is a way to poetically portray the human condition and an attempt to decipher the ineffable mysteries of the human psyche.
"Have you ever fallen in love with a wave" attempts to critique modern relationships and the way we treat immigrants.
Most of us have experienced the ephemeral nature of modern relationships and the inability of people to be there, even if the relationship ends, thus nullifying the notion of human connection.
Most of us are left longing for waves because waves, unlike people, come and go but are always in our line of sight. Always there.
