Sean Frasier is a screenwriter, director, and music journalist residing in Indianapolis. His scripts have been finalists in the Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Fest, Slamdance, Scriptapalooza, Screamfest, Script Pipeline, and many other competitions. He writes heavy metal music journalism for Decibel Magazine. He won the Ithaca College Screenwriting Award for the top graduating talent. He has produced several successful Hollywood Fringe Fest productions, including Producers' Award-winner "Thank You For Loving Me." HARMLESS is his directorial debut.
Sean Frasier cites POSSESSION (directed by Andrzej Żuławski), David Lynch's absurdist humor, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Dario Argento’s giallo era as inspirations for the film’s visual identity. He has long been a fan of Andrew Bonazelli's fiction and screenplays, and HARMLESS is their first collaboration. The film was shot and produced entirely with local Philadelphia talent.
HARMLESS is a bold blend of horror and twisted modern mythos that explores vigilante justice, rape culture, and the enduring impact of trauma.
