GUNGA DAN "No plot or character development."

A reimagining of what a crazy man allegedly said during an assault on former CBS newscaster Dan Rather in NYC. With apologies to Mr. Rather, who was pummeled and kicked during the unprovoked attack on 5th Avenue.

Director Statement

Gunga Dan runs 29 seconds, unedited, in one continuous shot. Location: Bronson Cave, near Hollywood CA. Give a couple of ham actors a video camera and, well... you be the judge.

A critic comments:

"As a writer myself, 'Gunga Dan' really doesn't have any plot or character development. And I doubt many will get the reference to the line he says mentioning "Kenneth."

It's filmed all right, with an interesting and historic location..."holy cavemen, Batman!" The lead actor is credible, but the second one is not convincing or necessary."
