Guillermo Ramírez is a Mexican actor, filmmaker, producer, and anthropologist whose work is grounded in subtle realism and a deep sensitivity to human behavior. His anthropological background informs a cinematic approach attentive to social structures, moral tension, and the quiet complexity of everyday life.
As an actor, he has appeared in the Jalisco productions Virgen de San Juan, Cuatro Siglos de Milagros (2022), Mirando al Cielo (2023), and Crimen por Omisión (2019), directed by Jaime Humberto Hermosillo. In 2017, he was recognized by the City Council of Tepatitlán as Young Promoter of the Arts for his contributions to theater and audiovisual production.
His characters often inhabit moral crossroads: strong individuals who make irreversible decisions and confront their consequences. At the same time, he has portrayed tender and vulnerable figures — and even unsettling, psychologically fractured personalities — always approaching each role with restraint, depth, and emotional precision.
He is co-director of Espíritu Films and a member of the organizing committee of ENCIENDE, a Mexican international film festival. As a producer, he is known for his ability to execute and deliver ambitious projects, navigating complex productions with strategic problem-solving and strong leadership.
He currently stars in the short films El sonido de las moscas (Mexico, 2025) and Una página de eternidad (Peru, 2025).
