So Yo Hen was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1982 and works as independent curator and artist.

Director Statement

Su has been the recipient of the S-An Arts Award, the Kaohsiung Award, and the Taipei Arts Award’s first prize. His work has been included in numerous international exhibitions, including Soundscape Taiwan at the 54th Biennale di Venezia (Palazzo delle Prigioni, Italy, 2011), La Marqueta-Body & Soul (Moore St. Market, New York, 2012), Boundaries on the Move (Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, Israel, 2012), and Today of Taiwanese Art (Gyeongnam Art Museum, Korea, 2010). Recent solo exhibitions include Living In Detail (Gwangju Museum, Korea, 2008), Ice Mountain (Pyo gallery Seoul, Korea, 2009), and I am Pluto (VT ArtSalon , Taipei, 2009). He curated Paradigm Shift – The Moment of Taiwan’s New Generation Arts (Beijing, 2007), CO Q-Young Taiwanese Artist from Nobody Collection (Taipei, 2008), and OOPJECT/ un/intentional objects (Taipei, 2010).
