My concern has always been cinema, especially short films, and I have tried to go into detail instead of writing articles and general statistics. Personally, I consider this medium a suitable space for telling bold stories and topics. Especially since short films have a more serious audience in Iranian cinema these days, and the capacities of this medium can be used to express the difficult conditions of people. The short film "Guards" can be the language of the people who have been living in the shadows and darkness for years.
I Don't know how much it worked or not, but it was important for me to be able to shed some light on this darkness and the lives of those who work on outskirt of the coast of Bushehr with the help of cinema.
In addition, I tried to make this story have a personal atmosphere, so I thought of a family that is not far from me. I told the story with a father and son who disagree about the word "hope".
