Growing Pains II is a short visual film that delves into the complex relationship between a mother and daughter confronting the roots of their anger(symbolized by red) and the generational trauma that has shaped their lives. Through gabay (traditional Somali poetry), cultural and nostalgic elements, the film crafts a visual narrative unveiling the unspoken words between them in the hope of fostering a deeper understanding.
