Director Biography - Nathan Xia

Nathan Xia has always been a storyteller using his life experiences to teach and inspire those around him. Nathan discovered his passion, filmmaking, in middle school as he saw this as a medium to tell his stories. He got involved creating film and video for different organizations such as Westview ASB, the California Association of Student Leaders, San Diego Workforce Partnership, other companies as well as started up his own YouTube channel where he could share his perspective on the world. Nathan aspires to be a feature film Director but until then, he will continue changing the world one video at a time from his home in San Diego, California.

Within 24 hours of being rejected from my dream school, I had a first draft for this film's screenplay.
Within 48 hours of being rejected from my dream school, I had a final draft of this film's screenplay and began pre-production.
Within 10 days of being rejected from my dream school, I had completed production for this film.
Within 14 days of being rejected from my dream school, I had completed a final draft of this film.

Pain empowers you with the ability to empathize with others. Do not view your suffering as a burden to survive through one day at a time but rather an opportunity to become stronger and wiser.
