Welcome to the 10th Year Annual, Grizzly Student Film Festival 2023!
Grizzly Film Festival is the premiere student film festival of UC Berkeley aimed to celebrate the works and projects of undergraduate students residing in the Bay Area. We are proudly hosted by Delta Kappa Alpha Professional Cinema Fraternity with the support and sponsor of the University of California, Berkeley Film Department and the ASUC. This is our way of giving back to our awesome filmmaking community!
Our judging panel is comprised of professionals working in the industry, UC Berkeley Film Department Staff, and DKA Alumni!
Submissions are currently open!
Deadline is November 20th.
However, we have extended the deadline to December 1st!
Winner Prizes & Benefits:
- Cash Prizes (varies between $50 to $100).
- Trophy, Certificate, and Free Merch.
- Professional Feedback from Industry Professional Judges and UC Berkeley Film Staff.
- Large and Free Premiere Screening at UC Berkeley Campus on January 20th. (Paid for Travel Expenses to Berkeley for Winners).
Note: The same submission and/or filmmaker may receive multiple different awards, including World Impact Award (e.g. the same submission could win "Best Directing" and "Best Experimental").
