Shinigami
A lonely grim reaper finds his day-to-day life monotonous, but realizes there is more than meets the eye when he discovers that he committed suicide in his past life. Complications arise as he interacts with a kind-hearted Vice Assistant who wants to help him, and a strict Warden determined to preserve order within her institution.

Joyce Sun is a writer of poetry, novellas, and screenplays. She discovered her love of storytelling on the screen in her undergraduate years thanks to one of her Literature/Writing professors. Since then she has taken the UCLA Professional Program in Feature Film Screenwriting and freelanced on sets. She currently is an intern at Cinestory Foundations and often volunteers with CAPE and VC to stay involved with the Asian American creative community.
Raised as a proud daughter of immigrants, Joyce Sun grew interested in using media and the Internet as a way to spread socially progressive messages. She’s currently working on a feature film called Minnesota Bang that deals with the growing pains of being an Asian American. When she isn’t busy with work, Joyce enjoys making YouTube covers, hanging with friends and trying new recipes.
