Director Biography - Michael Odendaal

I , Michael Odendaal , was born and raised in Johannesburg and moved to Cape Town to pursue my career in filmmaking. I am a warm hearted , passionate filmmaker and director. In my personal capacity I truly am an artistic person , finding stories in everything and everyone around me. I enjoy spending time engaging with films and actually any form of art. I have , in 2017, started my own production company Mode Productions 17 and we focus mostly on wedding films and corporate videography. This part of my life has encouraged me to work hard , to always seek challenges and force myself to grow. I am a perfectionist at heart, I enjoy the small things in life and I am a believer of simplicity and minimalism. As a director and filmmaker , I aspire to write and create inspiring and touching stories. I am looking forward to a challenging yet fulfilling life in the world of art.
