Green passport at France 98: Nigerian supporters at the World Cup
In 1998, a group of Nigerian football supporters travelled to Paris for the World Cup match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Denmark. The journey and immediate aftermath of the match, with all the passion and colour associated with African football were recorded. Interviews of some of the fans later took place in 2006, in which they relived the experience. This rare archive material has been made into a short documentary film, 21 years later.
