Director Biography - Ahmed Maged

Ahmed Maged is a young independent filmmaker and video journalist for Egypt's leading English-language media outlet, Egyptian Streets. Maged's body of work focuses mainly on social and environmental issues that are underreported and often overlooked in society.

As a film student in London, Maged directed a short campaign documentary shedding light on domestic abuse of children in the UK, through a non-profit charity. His latest documentary focuses on the efforts of environmentalists in Egypt to combat the ecological crisis confronting the country and world at large.
