Light and dark, or green and black. This film explores the feelings of zoning out when not doing anything much and what runs through someone’s head emotionally and visually. From the deep dark emotions to the light and happy ones.

Kara Cusson (she/her) is an aspiring Cinematographer working towards her BFA in Film and Media Arts at the University of Tampa. From a young age, Kara expresses creativity in many artistic disciplines, including novel writing, fine art, and musical theater, and later found passion in film. Raised in Central New York, she moved to Florida to build her career in the entertainment industry. Her best skills are Camera work and Sound Mixing, but her best quality is her organization in Producing. She continues to work on other student films building her experience to bring her creativity alive.
As I head into my final semester at UT, the future ahead of me is my growing experience on sets as I head into the camera department and leave my mark. Action films are my favorite to watch and make as it shows my own balance and understanding of movements and dynamic angles. With my gentle animal side in showing the bliss and comfort of an animal enjoying its life. Keeping my eye on Marvel and Discovery Channel is my focus. Currently, I am getting experience outside of college working as a Production Assistant on an HGTV show in the area, and intend to keep reaching out and growing my reputation into becoming a well-known Cinematographer.
