Next up on the Green Caravan's itinerary, we're going back to our homestead but shaking things up a bit with an expanded Gulf tour.

In the Spring of 2016 we'll be taking the Green Caravan on a tour to several major GCC cities. Expect screenings in Dubai, Doha, Bahrain, Muscat and Kuwait. In each city, we will show a programme of Middle Eastern Shorts along with a powerful international feature length documentary, complimented by discussion panels and Q&A sessions.

We are now accepting entries in the following two categories:
- Middle Eastern Shorts
- International feature length films

Criteria is simple and congruent with our usual mandate. We will only consider films about issues relating to:
1. Environment, ecology, sustainability
2. Social and humanitarian issues

Short Film Competition:
Submit your short film (animation / narrative / documentary) to Green Caravan Film Festival Gulf Tour 2016

Submission Guidelines
- Production Country: This year the submissions are invited from countries of the MENA region.. The festival committee will consider the eligibility of the film based on the following criteria: director’s nationality, shooting location, language of the film, nationality of casts.
If you feel that any or all of those categories place you within the MENA world of film, then we are happy to receive your submissions this year.
- RunningTime: 25minutes or under. Running time includes end credits.
- Production Year: The film must have been produced after January 1st 2014
- Language:English subtitles are required for submissions with languages other than English

International Feature Films:
It is required that the film is either environmentally or socially relevant and tells a story or presents an issue in a way that is visually and narratively compelling.
