Green Blue

Green Blue is an experimental documentary about the mental health effects of nature, and the role it played in supporting a variety of people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to COVID restrictions, this film was shot entirely on-campus at the University of York. Everything you see and hear was achieved by finding new and creative ways to photograph and record our surroundings. Our contributors were interviewed remotely, and their voices are what guide the various stories of the documentary, represented by various empty chairs seen throughout the film.

The voices of some contributors in the film have been re-cast by actors to hide their identity, as we have an ethical responsibility to protect those who are struggling with acute mental health, or are currently recieving treatment for certain conditions.
