Grapevines Solo: Death Valley Adventure 2

The Grapevine Mountains are a spectacular mountain range in Death Valley National Park containing majestic peaks, beautiful canyons, vibrant forests, and desert wildlife. The Grapevines are also the location of some of explorer Steve Hall’s most important co-discoveries in Death Valley. These discoveries include Tunnel Bridge (2010), White Slickenside (2010), Sunlight Bridge (2013), and Rosy Amphitheater (2017). In addition, Steve was the first hiker to ever document a route into the stunning narrows of Moonlight Canyon (2011). For this film, Steve takes viewers with him as he retraces his groundbreaking route into Upper Moonlight Canyon over one decade later to showcase the incredible beauty found there. This is the first time that this special place has ever been captured on film and shared with the world. Having spent over one month of total time hiking in the Grapevine Mountains, Steve Hall is uniquely qualified to do so.
