The film is a fabulist documentary that follows the daily experiences and dreams of the residents of a special type of prisonnal system in which the inmates are in charge of the maintenance of the space, the control of their own routine and of their security. In this space, a group of characters embark on the universe of their dreams and aspirations through cinema. Discipline and subjection mark their experiences of reclusion, imposing rigidity to their routine, while cinema seens to be a way to fabricate other worlds.

Lucas Andrade has a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from Universidade Federal Fluminense and a Masters in Contemporary Art and Culture from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. His performance in audiovisual varies between teaching, teaching editing courses and directing workshops, and cinematographic practice, acting as an editor and director. He is currently a member of the staff of the Imagem em Movimento project and in 2022, the feature-length documentary grid premiered, a project that varies art teaching proposals with simple premises that encourage experimentation with the multiple possibilities of cinema and art making.
