Grace Shalhoub is an independent filmmaker developing content with cross-cultural themes and explorations of the human condition. With a mission to weave the elusive Arab immigrant story into the American tapestry, Grace has focused much of her work on Kahlil Gibran, famed author of The Prophet.

In 2022, Grace wrote “Speak of Gibran”, which has so far won best screenplay awards and received honorable mention in several international film festivals. In 2021, Grace wrote the musical, "Broken Wings", based on Gibran’s short story and the original stage musical in London. In 2011, Grace wrote the biographical feature, “Gibran”, which was a quarter finalist in the AMPAS Nicholl Fellowship, won several international feature film screenplay awards, and was subsequently sold to Creative Projects Group in Hollywood.

Grace has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston College and a Juris Doctorate from New England Law School. Raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Grace now lives between the United States, Europe, and the Middle East working as a freelance writer and voice artist.
