Grace Kary is a short filmmaker and the first recipient of the K.M. Hunter Award. Her short films have appeared in Canada, USA, Mexico and Australia and have been screened on television in Canada and the US. Other installations and videos have been exhibited during Open Ears Festival of Music and Sound and in galleries including Montreal, Toronto and Mexico.
