My name is Cristiano, aka 'Cristiano Neila', I was born in Rome and during my childhood I became passionate about drawing, music and finally Cinema. In 2012 I graduated as a sound engineer at the University of Rome Torvergata. A few years later, in 2016 I participated as a guest in the Lucano Festival"Latronic Horror" where I met the director Dario Almerighi with whom a collaboration began as sound design and sound engineer in various shorts and in two feature films (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9042300/fullcredits/).
Lately I collaborated with Pi. Sa. Films Production for the short "Grabadora Sound"
Well, considering these few words from the synopsis:
"Somewhere in the suburb of Rome a musician is looking for something’s original to be to finish his musical production"
I should say: "that's me!" thinking to myself when I was practicing for my Sound Engineer degree, infact at that time I would to get the perfect sound, but obvusly it was never perfect at all, and currently I realize the only way is filming a story where finaly someone get something's sound perfect.
The plot was very simple, so I decided to keep most of the shots close to characters of Altea and Mario and that I think, helped the viewer to be involved in the spirit of “personal research” that both the characters shows during all the film.
I would to thanks this marveluos team, we all worked together before in some indipendent horror movie (you maybe reconize an horror-like photography expecialy in the night shots) and I get surpriced still we work so well in the shooting of a commedy.
