Gözde Özcan was born in Istanbul on February 3th, 1990. In 2009, she began studying at Mimar Sinan Fine Art University in Istanbul, had interested in all branch of plastic arts and performance Art for many years.
In the context of strong student unrest, discrimination and injustice against women, political difficulties.
In 2016, she switched her study to Berlin Weissensee School of Art. There, she developed a strong interest in video and Film and graduated with a Kurzfilm from the Berlin Weissensee School of Art, called the three lives of Antigone.
She lives in Berlin, Germany and makes short and experimental films.
