Got Lead
Myron Higgins was raised in Baltimore in a house decorated with lead paint. As a small child he was the subject of scientific research. At 18 he was compensated with $250,000 in damages but blew it all in under 6 months. Now in his 30s, armed with a camera, he documents his past, the present and assesses the terrible affects that lead paint has on his health as well as the city of Baltimore.

Myron Higgins is a fellow of the Baltimore Youth Film Arts program and was selected for the Saul Zaentz Innovation Fund for his film Got Lead. Working alongside producers Paul Crompton and Annette Porter he made his first documentary Got Lead?
I've suffered from the effects of lead poisoning all my life. But throughout this I've channelled my creativity into making music for as long as I can remember. This is my first film that tells my personal lead poisoning story as well as looking at the wider problems that this has caused for the city of Baltimore. This is something that America needs to know about.
