Good to be Alive

I wrote this song for my friends struggling with thoughts of suicide. While writing this song I received input from individuals who had attempted or struggled with thoughts of suicide and depression. I received input from social media as well as private interviews. The private interviews were very moving and heart breaking. I used the notes I took from these interviews and social media posts to write the song and to produce the music video. My hope in writing this song and producing this music video is that those hurting and struggling with depression and thoughts of suicide can hear from people like them who have struggled and understand them.
