Director Biography - Wei She

She Wei, male, Chinese film director and screenwriter. Born in 1985 in Gansu Province, China, currently residing in Guangzhou. Graduated from Hefei University of Technology. I started working on commercial advertising planning and filming in 2007, and started creating movies in 2013. There are short film works broadcasted on online platforms.

Director Statement

This is a movie about themes such as dreams and reality, memory and forgetting, life and separation.
Life is a long farewell.
There are unexpected separations，regretful separations, forced separations, hasty separations, carefully settled separations, and eternal separations…
Everyone experiences various separations in their lifetime.Most people don't know how to face parting, we just silently endure it. Like Jie in the movie.
What I want to express is, don't be afraid of the moments of parting, they are also important parts of life.Love is the root cause that makes people feel the pain of parting, and it is also a good medicine for healing pain.
Dreams, imagination, memories, and reality make up our complete life.
