Director Biography - Karl Jahnke

Born into a nomadic family, his formative years were spent in California. He got art schooling from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and his masters at Clemson University. He teaches animation at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama.
His animations are reactionary pieces to global cultures and personal events, they serve as a diary of his life experiences. He uses satire and irony to create humorous themes to soften harsh narratives. By being an observer, he divulges ironic connections and unique stories.
