This is my final work at RIT, my graduate thesis short film, Goldfish.
The premise of Goldfish is based on a Persian poem by Forough Farrokhzad, which is about one’s courage to follow their dreams.
The environments and the costume design is based on my hometown’s culture and scenery.
To keep it authentic yet modern, I used hand drawn character designs and background designs and utilized Adobe After Effects for rigging and animation.
