Director Statement

Never Say Die (tentative) was developed by the largest 3D animation team Middle Tennessee State
University has ever seen. With a group of 8 animation students, their goal is to make a 3D animated
music video that will stand out above and beyond any other animated student film. The song was
found the same day that it was time for the story to be finalized for our film, and it was perfect.
It took a lot of time and commitment from the whole team. Tons of time spent forming concepts
and figuring out how to make the story shine even further, how to make action shots steal the show.
There were changes made left and right, until it finally got to where it is now. With a team of 8, it was
a large challenge to manage everything. There were complications along the way, some bumps in
the road, but it was all worth it.
