Director Biography - Julio Méndez

Julio Mendez is a multiple Emmy award winner, he loves to capture real situations in everyday life, crossing miles and countries to know, to experience other cultures, that moves his life, films and photography. There is passion to immortalize pain and joy, the feet of the weary, light spirited climber, reaching the snow-covered summit. However adventurous his heart, he is soothed by his sensitivity.

Julio Mendez began his pursuit of film and photography because it made him feel free. Continually chasing after the perfect photographic image and a real story has molded him into a hard-working professional. Based in Miami, Julio comes from Venezuela

Director Statement

My motto in life is: Together We Can.

"God is not to blame" was made from that motto, wonderful professionals joined forces to bring a message to the world, to enter hearts and minds in order to achieve reflection.
This Documentary Short has already changed the lives of all of us who were involved in it.
Our greatest lesson from it is to appreciate life and to live it well.

It deeply fills me to make films that carry messages of life, loaded with lessons, with the least possible amount of drama, but with the best of results: to Learn.

I feel that everyone in the world should welcome the message that "God is not to blame" carries.
