Goblin Market
This highly collaborative film took inspiration from the Christina Rossetti poem, 'Goblin Market'. The poem delves into questions of sexuality, addiction, destruction and rebirth.
Designer, Hector Maclean, built his 2024 collection around the poem and Rossetti's experiences helping with women trapped in opium addiction.
This film, by award winning filmmaker Andrew Maclean, builds on these concepts. The film explores themes of seduction, abuse, frailty, descent, allure, corruption, purification and death.
