Goats from Marvila
In Lisbon, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, in the modern-day parish of Marvila, there was a neighborhood made up of precarious shacks, called "Bairro Chinês", which had been dismantled to make way for social housing buildings. Of the residents who lived there, only one, who took care of a herd of goats and sheep, managed to buy his land from the Lisbon City Council.
The tradition of your afternoon walk with your animals lasts to this day.

Born in Campo Grande/MS/Brazil, before launching himself professionally in the audiovisual world, the author studied Law School and worked for some years as a lawyer and judicial mediator.
Determined to embrace his artistic streak and pursue a new career, he moved to Lisbon in 2018, enrolling in a photography and visual culture course.
After a year in that course, he decided to change his educational institution, and enter the field of cinema and moving image, at which time he joined at Ar.Co - Center of Visual Arts and Communication.
In 2020, he made his first experimental school-short film based on the film “At Land”, by Maya Deren, which received the name “Darkland”. The film was selected for the festivals “Lisbon Film Rendezvous”, “The Lift-Off Sessions” and “First Time Filmmaker Sessions”.
Also in 2020, he presented his film “No.”, at FUSO – Video Art Festival, and the film “Quarentine”, at the session “Ante-Estreias”/Films from Ar.Co School, at Cinemateca Portuguesa.
Do your films, communicate with people, use your voice to change the world, and make art.
