Go Back
A little girl is crossing the street. She seems to be chasing a red balloon just outside of her arms' length. The balloon's string seem to dance around the tip of her fingers. Light surrounds her.
A few days earlier, the same girl was sitting with complete focus on the tv screen. She doesn't hear her mother calling.
A man is in his car, driving frantically. He is searching for something. He sees red.
A few hours ago a family was in a cafe. The little girl's throat was itchy.
A woman and her husband ran into an old friend. They reminisce about their past. Their daughter looks around. Out of the corner of her eye, she sees red.
A few moments ago the little girl sees a drink on a tray that would take the itch away. She looks at her parents and see father and mother busy. She chases the drink.
A woman is showing a photo of a little girl to strangers. She is worried. Tears are rolling down.
A few moments later a phone call is made. the girl on the street, rhe father driving, the mother searching, the red balloon just outside the length where her fingers could reach. The father just looks up a second too late. She sees light. He sees red. The balloon floats away.
