Glory Road
During the Great Depression in the racially divided Deep South, a handsome young man leaves family, farm, and sweetheart(s) behind on a quest to seek nonexistent employment on the Mississippi River Levee Project in Tennessee. Along the way he bonds with a ragtag group of friends and battles weather, malaria, inhumanity, and tragedy. "Ulysses," "The Wizard of Oz," and "O Brother where Art Thou?"--without the stereotypical depiction of Southern Culture.

I've probably watched more films than Quentin Tarantino.
