Matthew Agustin is a filmmaker, editor, and director. He has produced an award-winning film.
I became interested in making films ever since I was a child. I wanted especially to make documentaries since I wanted to make informational videos that explained in depth about a topic. I was so obsessed about making videos that my father started creating a YouTube channel for the purpose of posting educational, informational videos. Later, my father asked me if I could make a short informational film about a certain topic that I was interested in. I produced a film about North Korea and it became a highly successful film, participating in two major film festivals.
The success of the North Korea film encouraged me to make more films that teach a moral lesson and to share with the whole world the message I wanted to convey. I really felt like I was destined to make great films and to show to everyone my immense talents. So, I am currently working on films that had emotional values on audiences, starting with “A Once in a lifetime Trip” and “A Hope for a Cure”. These films will captivate audiences by addressing issues in our society and values that people ought to display. This new generation of films will definitely inspire people and have an emotional impact on the people watching them. The film will have a message or moral that goes with it, so that people will understand the purpose of why I made the film. I wanted to make films so that people will be able to understand my purpose and to hopefully be a changed person after watching them.
