Director Biography - Sasha Shevchenko

Sasha Shevchenko is a versatile creative professional based in Toronto, with a diverse skill set encompassing music videos, film production, and creative direction. Since 2020, Sasha has been fully committed to creative productions as both a director and an executive producer. Sasha embraces creativity through an authentic sensibility lens, with the goal of eliciting emotions through the precise elements of filmmaking.

Sasha started her creative path as a dancer and dance teacher in her hometown Kyiv, Ukraine. After returning to Toronto in 2016, started working more behind the camera as a videographer and production assistant on set, as well as gained experience and knowledge under the mentorship of creative director - Jamie Webster from Common Good TV. In June 2023, Sasha graduated from York University with a honours bachelor degree in Communication and Media Studies.
