Time in all its ruthless epostases is revealed here: this is sand, and broken glass - as a boundary between realities - and a shattering cup, and sparks of fire, eventually devouring the space of the non-authentic with fire and leaving only what is true.

A clock with immobilized hands, sand moving in circles is a symbol of frozen time, like a grater erasing our non-authentic beings in anticipation of resurrection and finding worthy of eternal life as the opposite of death and time.

Tarkovsky and Lynch, gentle homage and deep reflection: sand mounds, as in "Stalker", the reverse movement of the heroine's hair, as in "Mirror", the entourage and mood of the main room and the inexorable flame, as in Lynch in all his films.
