Giovanni Berardi was born in L'Aquila, Italy, on August 20, 1994.
Passionate about cinema since childhood, he approached the film industry initially by writing articles for some blogs and online magazines and then decided to try his hand, as a complete self-taught, at directing with his first short film, titled "About You," in 2017.
In 2018, as he began writing his next short film, he founded the cultural association "filmAQuì," an association that works to promulgate and spread the beauty of L'Aquila through the use of the Seventh Art.
In 2019, he directed his second short film, in the horror genre, "The Abyss' Scent," distributed by "Prem1ere Film."
Finally, in 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he wrote, directed and shot at home "Isolesque," a surreal existentialist horror film about the sociopsychological problems caused by lockdown.
In 2021, he began specialized studies in the field of film within the School "IFA - School of Film" located in Pescara, with which, at the end of the 2nd year, he made the short film "Sacro | Urbano".
