Ginger's Paradise
Christopher, musician from united states,
prepares to receive his mother, who for the
first time will travel to Bolivia to visit him at his
eco-sustainable farmand eco-hotel in
the jungle.
Ginger`s Paradise is an alternative life project
that Christopher has built with his partner
Sol, a Bolivian woman of great talent and
knowledge about sustainability. However, life
in nature can engender unexpected conflicts:
it seems that every paradise contains a
small hell, and this sanctuary in the Bolivian
jungle will be no exception.

Inspired by the legacy my parents always inculcated
in my family, Ginger’s Paradise represents for me the
success of an ideal that departs fromthe conventional
norms society dictates. I come from a large family and
just like Christopher and his family, community life has
always been my home, where everything is shared
and selfishness and individualismare rejected.
This documentary has been an opportunity to
disseminate a vision that we share with Ginger’s,
where work and life are collaborative and it is possible
to think in another type of society, one that has
strengths and weaknesses, but it is possible.
