Get a Real Job
The successes and failures of amateur non-profit fundraisers Sam and Yogi - this show is a gritty, outrageous, and irreverent intertwining of lives and experiences while working a sales job in the streets of New York City. While navigating the cutthroat world of fundraising they lie, cry, and convince the upper class to donate a dollar a day, 30 bucks a month.
The duo discovers that true challenges and triumphs lie not in the job itself, but in the eclectic and supportive ensemble cast of co-workers they come to cherish. Together, they learn that surviving in "the city that never sleeps" is not just about finding a job that pays well but finding the people who make your youth worthwhile.

Yogi Paliwal and Sam Lochs are both established New York City comedians. When they met in a dog park in early 2024 they quickly bonded over their love for film projects that are visually stunning and sincere. The two teamed up and formed DogRun Productions with plans to create media that is reflective of their unique personalities and tastes in comedy.
Get a Real Job is a reflection of what life is like for NYC's non-profit fundraisers. In a world where the idea of donating to charity is often an afterthought, the lives of those who are fundraising are wildly understated. This show is very much based on the real experiences of fundraisers we know, including Sam Loch's partner. While Sam Loch's partner is no longer working as a fundraiser, his experiences led him to pursue social work school. Sam has been incredibly inspired by her partner's perseverance and the events that unfolded during his time working this job.
