Gerardo “Gerry” Cisneros is a Mexican-American filmmaker raised in the Bay Area. After spending nearly two decades in Los Angeles and New York City, he has been a New Orleanian since 2019.
Gerry aspires to share stories that delve into the complexities of identity, culture, and the human experience; encompassing a range of narratives that explore the universal themes of love, loss, and redemption.
In 2024, Gerry founded NOFILM, a New Orleans-based film production company, as a platform for local emerging talent and a hub for storytelling that challenges conventions and sparks meaningful conversations.
As a director, Gerry is an intuitive collaborator with a strong eye for detail who aims to bring out the best in his team.
