George Monbiot: Our Dying Coastlines

The fishing industry is largely responsible for the rapid decline of marine life, especially near the UK shoreline.

BAFTA-winning filmmaker and We Animals Media contributor Alex Lockwood sat down with British journalist and activist George Monbiot for a poignant conversation on the ecological reality of our dying coastlines.

As an avid sea kayaker, Monbiot has a special kinship with and awareness of the dwindling species in the waters around him.

This exclusive short film captures that experience.
