Maria Juliana Villar is a graduate of the Arts and Design track at Jose Rizal University and is currently second-year college in Digital Film at Mapua University. She is an aspiring filmmaker who is still learning to gain experience in writing and directing. Besides writing and directing, she is also exploring her creative side in film editing.
The title of the film is a combination of the words “Gender” and “Diary,” I would like to take this opportunity to become a medium for the three subjects by telling their unheard stories like a diary. My main goal is to give the correct information to the audience about transgender. It will give the audience insights into their struggles by being themselves before their family accepts and support them.
