Gail Gilbert was an award-winning film editor before switching gears and going back to school for an MFA in Writing for the Screen + Stage. Now she is embarking on a new career as writer/director, where she thrives on creating characters and premises that push the envelope in critiquing modern life. The issues that drive her forward are racial and class conflict, cross-generational unity and the power of Time in defining human existence. Gail’s work challenges stereotypes of ageism and shows that life is equally wild and crazy all the way to the end.
