G.R Greer is a gay Scottish queer filmmaker who originates from Stranraer but now lives in Glasgow.
G.R. graduated from Queen Margaret University’s BA (Hons) Drama and Performance course with a First-Class Honours Degree and also MLitt in Playwriting and Screenwriting at The University of St Andrews in December 2017. Currently, G.R. is completing his MA in Filmmaking at the University of the West of Scotland.
G.R’s writing often explores the darkest parts of the human psyche and human experience which delves into how taboo subjects are viewed in society today, whilst also focusing on LGBTQIA+ and mental health stigma as themes.
