Rules & Terms

Submission Guidelines:

Submissions are open for horror-themed short films and music videos.
Films must be no longer than 45 minutes in duration.
All submissions should be in English or include English subtitles.
Submissions can be made through FilmFreeway.com
Submission fee is $20 per entry, non-refundable.

Screening Schedule:
Selected films and music videos will be screened from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM during the Gore Fest event. Don't miss your chance to witness these spine-tingling creations.

Award Ceremony:
Join us at 7:30 PM for the award ceremony, where we'll honor the exceptional talents behind the best films and music videos of the festival.

Submission Rules:

All submitted films and music videos must belong to the horror genre.
Content should be original or have appropriate rights for screening.
Explicit content is allowed but should be within reasonable limits and serve the artistic integrity of the piece.
Any form of discrimination or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
Submissions violating copyright laws will be disqualified.

Judging and Awards:
A panel of esteemed judges will evaluate submissions based on creativity, storytelling, technical excellence, and adherence to the horror genre. Awards will be presented for various categories, including Best Short Film, Best Music Video, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, and more.

Rights and Permissions:
Submitting a film or music video grants GoreFest the right to screen your work during the festival and for promotional purposes.

Audience Choice Award:
The audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite film and music video. The winner will receive the Audience Choice Award.
