Atlanta has well established itself within the filmmaking elite for major productions. Every MARVEL franchise goes through Atlanta, including number one shows like Netflix’s Stranger Things. Besides being a vibrant city, known for its musical roots, Atlanta is now a film production hot spot, daring to rival Los Angeles.
And now it will also serve as host for The GO Independent International Film Festival – ALTANTA! In November 2021 the GO Independent series of film festivals, as part of the FAME Family, will have a home in the peach state! Our goal is to give more opportunities for independent filmmakers and screenwriters to showcase and promote their art.
Audiences and Artists can discover how ‘Hotlanta’ got its name with its subtropical, sunny weather, and explore the city that Elton John calls home by enjoying the city’s award-winning restaurants and historical charm. Before and after screening films, networking, and enjoying the festival atmosphere, GO on your own adventure in the city ranked the 6th most fun city in the USA!
